Cheer Director and Coach
Dee found her passion for all-star cheer and dance more than two-decades ago, when her daughter, Ryhannon, joined the sport. At that time, Dee was working as a fitness instructor and found the transition from the fitness world, to the competitive cheer world, an easy one, as she tailored her approach to bring the importance of proper nutrition and fitness training to the cheer and dance athlete.
Dee has coached at many levels:
Dee prides herself in teaching life lessons to her coaching staff and athletes through cheerleading, focusing on making a difference in each young person’s life. She can be seen daily in the front office of Midwest Cheer Elite. Dee has a presence in every practice, with each team, joining the coaching staff to reinforce the Elite standards.
Gym Director, Dance Director/Creative Director & Coach
Ree has been a part of the cheer and dance industry for over 28 years, with choreographing and coaching covering two-decades. Taking her dance program to Worlds and Summit each year since 2011, her Senior Small Coed team placed 6th in 2015, 2016 & 2018. Possibly her most notable team, "Freeze Krew" has left their mark at the Dance Summit in 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2019 with 5th place finishes 2 years in a row in the Small Youth Hip-Hop Division.

Tumbling Director & Coach
Jeff is the collegiate football player turned cheerleader, when he chose to join the Baldwin-Wallace cheer team near the end of football in 1994. His career path in the cheer world moved rapidly, overlapping his athletic involvement:
During the 1998 cheer season Jeff began focusing on coaching tumbling classes through a local all-star program. Becoming a renowned tumbling coach, he has coached classes at a number of all-star gyms throughout the country, and in 2006 joined Xtreme Team Athletics. He continued to head the tumbling program as Xtreme joined forces as Ultimate Athletics of Ohio, and currently Midwest Cheer Elite. Jeff also works hand in hand with USASF as a credentialing instructor.
Cheer Coach & Dance Coach
Cassi has been dancing for more than two-decades, studying both studio dance, as well as competitive dance. She took her dance ability and competitive spirit to the collegiate level, competing at the Universal Dance Association Nationals in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
She is helping many young dancers pave their way by coaching dance and running our Special Needs Dance Program. Cassi has competed at the Dance Worlds (Jazz, Contemporary, Pom & Hip Hop).
Tumbling Coach & Cheer Coach
Christina began cheering when she was 10-years old, with the Brunswick Youth Football Program. She then went on to be an interscholastic middle school and high school cheerleader through the Brunswick City School District. Christina has been coaching for more than a dozen years at XTA, UA of Ohio & MCE. She has also competed at the Dance Worlds in Hip Hop.
Tumbling Coach & Cheer Coach
Veronica is a graduate of Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School, where she participated in the cheer program for two seasons.. She began her competitive cheer career with Ultimate Athletics 9 years ago transitioning to Midwest, and began her dance career a year after that. Veronica has competed at the Dance Worlds (Pom, Contemporary & Hip Hop) & Summit.
Midwest Cheer & Dance Elite (MCE) provides opportunities for athletes aged 3 years and beyond in recreational cheer, dance and tumbling as well as competitive cheer / dance teams and special needs programs. Our mission at MCE is to provide athletes the freedom to compete successfully both inside and outside our facility. MCE does not measure success by how many times we win but through our perseverance during difficult times, reaching goals we set for ourselves, reaching goals we set for our team(s), respect we give our competition, the honor we bestow on our family, the friends we make, and the family we build.
